Richfield Umhlanga Campus

My experience as a first-year student here at Richfield Umhlanga Campus, the Graduate Institution of Technology has been nothing short of exceptional.

The faculty members have been nothing but helpful from day one. With a kind and friendly receptionist at the front desk, student advisors who help you with your courses and fees, high knowledgeable and passionate lecturers who are always going the extra mile to ensure their students understand and succeed in their subjects, and a campus manager who always makes the students feel at home, who consistently puts the student's needs first, but is also not afraid to call out the wrongdoings of students when they do something wrong which is what most institutions lack.

The campus itself is beautiful and well-maintained, providing a conducive environment for learning and growth. The library, labs, auditorium, lecture rooms, rooftop, and other resources are top notch, making it easy to stay on top of my studies. Additionally, the campus is situated is a well sort out environment, with stores all around the building, a park opposite the institution and Gateway Mall within a five minute from where the campus building stands.

Furthermore, the college offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs, and events that have enriched my college experience beyond academics. Our most popular activity is Wacky Wednesdays, where students finish at 12 and participate in different but fun games such as karaoke, word games, guessing games and so on. We have soccer every Wednesday from 1 onwards where the students go to the indoor soccer court on Wednesdays where we support our fellow Richfield friends in their soccer games. I myself am currently in the book club and it has been a life altering experience since joining.

One of the standout aspects of Richfield Umhlanga Campus is the strong sense of community. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by both faculty and fellow students. The college also has excellent career services with people from the outside world coming to campus to present their jobs to us students to enlighten us what is to be done and how to go about achieving and landing the job and career that you want. The campus provides ample opportunities for internships, job placements, and networking with people across the country.

Overall, Richfield Umhlanga Campus has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. It has not only prepared me academically but also helped me grow personally and professionally. I highly recommend Richfield Umhlanga Campus to anyone seeking a top-tier education and an unforgettable college experience.
