Richfield I want my money back

In April I approached Richfield enquiring if I can articulate my diploma and study a BCOM with them. I spoke to a certain lady that requested that I email my results and that they will get back to me with the feedback. A few days later, she forwarded an email which stated that I could articulate and which modules I will be credited for. She said that I should pay R500.00 for the application of credits, R500.00 for Registration and R3500.00 for Registration. I enquired if I will be doing second year modules and the response was Yes. I made the payment of R500.00 on the 23rd of May and in May the other R500.00 for registration. I paid R5 500.00 for the deposit R1500.00, R200.00 and R500.00. During this whole time the College never communicated anything. On the 8th of August I send an email enquiring when the course is starting because my modules weren't uploaded and I got no response. The following Friday I received an email for workshops for the course and I frantically tried to get someone to assist me that Saturday but unfortunately the person was busy. On Monday I finally get to speak to the course administrator, then on Wednesday they upload 1st year modules and not 2nd year modules according to what they said that they will give me credits for. I sent an email again stating that there was an error because I'm not suppose to be doing first year modules and that I was paying for the articulation. The course Administrator tells me that she forwarded my results to the Dean and that he will not approve my application. I requested to de-register because that's not the agreement that we had and requested that I get a refund. The response was that I had 21 days to de-register and that I am liable for paying the full amount. Now the College never communicated with me in time to tell me that I was not approved for the credits and that I will need to start from first year. They don't want to give me back the R7700.00 which I paid because they failed me and now I'm having sleepless nights thinking of the money that I paid and now they are refusing to give my money back.

I cannot be part of a College that doesn't value me as a student and fails to communicate with me regarding important information. Had this been communicated from the beginning and then I would have had enough time to de-register within the 21 days that was stipulated. Now you expect ME to let go of R 7700.00 as if money grows on trees and I'm still expected to pay the remaining amount. It is the incompetence on your side which landed me in this predicament and will not be bul**** into paying anything plus I still need my refund. In this case your service has been dispecable!!!
