Great exams

Exams.. they are going. Small avoidable hiccups with the built-in compiler today with Webtech 511.. It is fantasic that it is there, and i am so greatfull that it has been added, our campus manager hearing our concerns, and solving each problem as they arise.

I feel like that could have/or/ should have been tested beforehand.

Or the students could have been informed about the compiler before the exams.

Or the students could have tested it beforehand ( obviously on a different paper, but same situation) just so we know how to use it. Or what it can do.

Instead, I had to spend 15 min just trying to see if it was working or not ... In the end, I gave up on the built-in compiler.. only for all my code to be physically RED....

Then we were told by the lecturer I can use "Visual Studios Code" compiler...great.. but my computer does not have it installed... So I went to Chrome, and searched for it. Downloaded it during the exam... (freely roaming the internet)- (me thinking I was gonna get kicked or flagged or worse). Slightly annoyed, because now running VSC, and my outputs were not working, causing further stress and panic, because I still had more than half my paper to complete.. and I was more than halfway through the time. Bouncing back and forth between the exam and the VSC and my output.. output still not working, me wasting more time trying to figure it out.

All in all, is exams are going. The first 2 exams went well. This one was horrible, The next one should be fine because it is just theory. But then Programming, I am curious to see what they are going to do.
