DON'T waste your time studying with Richfield

I just thought I would let everyone know what a nightmare it is to study with Richfield as a distance learner. I'm sure full time students will agree with me as well. I joined in 2016, with no other choices after missing the registration date with UNISA. In 2016 we had Saturday classes for Distance Learners. We actually did programming lectures during the first 2 semesters. In 2017 everything went downhill. Saturday classes stopped or was only done for BSC learners. 2018 was the biggest nightmare. Being my final year, it was very difficult because we had to do a Group Project. To get advice was a mission, lecturers don't respond to emails. Calling them just results in them saying I must come to the campus. I had to go 4 times to the campus only for the lecturer to ask the full time students to explain the work to me.

Exams are a joke because we always started late at the Dbn campus. Learners copy, talk, etc during exams. The invigilators walk out or turn a blind eye to copying. They recently introduced MCQs via Moodle in exams. Since then, their isn't any computers for learners to use, or the computer isn't working so learners do it on their phones/laptops despite Isaka etc saying that should't be done.

Study guides are copied from the prescribed textbooks. I'm sure that is plagiarism. This just encourages learners to copy and paste answers in their written assignments.

I can go on and on.

Things are getting worse every year at Richfield. It's not worth the money, you rather study at an institution that cares about you. Richfield need to use all that money they use on marketing for actual lecturers and management at campuses.
