Accounts department refuse to generate an invoice
My employer is willing to pay the balance of my studies for the year and I am trying to get an invoice so this can be actioned.
I have supp**** Richfield with all of the required information to generate this, but their accounts department refuses to generate an invoice before my employer sends them a letter confirming that they will in fact pay it.
They insist on a written confirmation from my employer that payment will be made, before issuing the document that will tell said company the amount which they are confirming to pay. Let that bit of logic sink in...
My advisor (Thabani) has been great and he is trying his best but is up against a department that refuses to supply an invoice because they generate a lot of invoices that end up going unpaid by employers (paraphrasing their excuse).
Also consider that I am a distance learner and that my account is not in arrears. I use none of Richfield's resources except the online functionality for exams and submissions. I don't contact, nor do I need assistance from lecturers or any other staff.
The one, very reasonable request, for an invoice has been a nightmare and the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because the student advisor is at least trying.
It really is this simple: as with any other reasonable business; I need an invoice with the correct information (as already supp**** to you) so my employer can settle the account. They cannot and will not proceed without an invoice,
I honestly don't get why something as standard and trivial as this needs to be made a problem.
