Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Dear Peter! I wrote a review regarding above mentioned business on the 08th of July, 2021 @ 17:18pm. The arrogance of this company is such that they have not even bothered to reply to this complaint. I was advised to approach MIOSA in order to resolve the matter. Upon contacting them, I was informed that they would not be able to assist due to the fact that I have now taken my vehicle to a third party mechanic. My predicament is such that how am I supposed to take my vehicle to a company that was tasked to repair my vehicle and ended up only doing menial tasks in order to get my car operational. A bill of R18 000.00 is not at all small change. Honestly, I am out of pocket and my car is once again in for repairs. Every time we speak to the new mechanic, I am not only struck by anger but utter disappointment as it appears that hardly any repairs were done. The new mechanic has kept me in the loop with pictures and is even prepared to write a report on his findings. My loast hop was MIOSA, however this now indicates that I need to obtain legal advice (at additional costs). Lets get this straight. Repairs initially cost me roughly R 18000.00. A week after repairs were conducted I proceeded to the Spare Shop to buy a brake light switch (I was billed for a switch that was never replaced @ R216.00). The switch was replaced at my cost and the problem was solved. Not even six month later, I am back at square one. My vehicle's Head has gone again and is in the workshop. To date the head repairs have set my back R5000.00. I realized that the Gearbox had some repairs that was needed and due to the fact that I was fooled with the first repairs I requested that the new mechanic check up on al the previous "so called" repairs that was done. No repairs, not even the clutch was repaired. I don't know what to do. I just think that this company should be held responsible for their non-action. Richards Bay Auto Tune-Up had my car for two weeks. For the two weeks I had to take a taxi to and from work and now I AM SITTING IN THE SAME POSITION. Total cost thus far is therefore: Initial Head repairs = R18 000.00 Brake Light Switch = R220.00 Transport fees for the two weeks = R2000.00 Head Repairs = R 7 400 to date Transport fees to date R 1080 This is a total of R 28 700.00 to date. Please, Please help me to resolve this matter is you are looking at a desperate woman. I am not only looking for justice for my self but future clients that consider taking their vehicles to this company for repairs.
