Saying one thing and doing another

On Friday 2015/05/29 I went to Ricardo's to order two pizzas and when I wanted to pay by card I was told that I had to go draw the money and pay by cash as their card machine was not working. I did that, but when I came back another customer placed their order and paid by card without even being told that the card machine was broken. I queried this and the staff member tried to justify her answer saying that it went off the customers account but was then declined by the machine.
