About 2 years ago I stumbled across an ad of an individual named Granwald Scott that offers assistance with regards to credit/credit profiles etc. We communicated via email and he provided his cell number of ********** . He wrote a beautiful and promising story as to how he assisted so many customers in restoring their credit health. None the less, I was skeptical and declined his assistance. Please keep in mind I saved that number as Granwald Scott. A few months ago contact was made from that same number asking if I need assistance, I indicated I do not have the cash to go ahead with anything and the "person" promised that no matter how bad the financial situation he will be able to obtain a loan, but an upfront fee must be paid. For weeks the person was hassling me saying he can assist and he described the process that he goes through to obtain the loan. Sounded to good to be true. I have stated on numerous occasions I cannot afford the fee as I have to many financial obligations and if I make payment I have no guarantee that he would assist me. On 25 September I received a call from the following number ********** , the person introduced himself as Ricardo. He asked me if I was ready to pay deposit and he actually provided and amount I could qualify for. Please keep in mind I have been chatting to the person I know as Granwald on ********** . To my disbelief it was actually Ricardo I was speaking to. When I asked "the person" about the number and stated I was under the impression it was Granwald I was speaking to he indicated he use to work with Granwald and Granwald is now in the KZN area. Strange that both of them would have the same number, he even made mention now he understands why I am so skeptical. Ricardo painted the picture that if I pay deposit today(25 September) my things should be sorted out in 7 days. He provided an account number of a Mr Khumalo(apparently that was his contact at the bureau). I made payment of R4500. Needless to say 25 December it will be 3 months and I still have not received the loan as promised. I have heard excuses like, he is in the queue at the bank, he is waiting on the branch manager, the banks systems are being updated, he is on his way to the bank. Excuses upon excuses. Then finally I get notification of an Absa loan application. So I wait and I eventually phone the bank and it was declined. Ricardo still does not give up saying he is working on it. Please note that numerous emails and messages has been sent to him asking him to come clean and speak the truth, he is a con artist. He gets angry at being called an con artist and a ****. Stupid me told 2 of my colleagues about him when the process started and he then liaised with them as well, he than asks them to make deposit as well and promises the same thing, their financial situation will be sorted. But now he has become clever, he asks them to send the money to his cell phone, and not being paid into an account. He promises everyone the same, from the same lines to the same amount all of us qualify for. So he is merely a collector of deposits but does not live up to his word of what he promised. Guess what, he is then being pressurized from all of us but he sticks to his guns saying he is sorting everyone out. Different dates, when it comes to the date of when payment is supposed to happen he has excuses. So 2 weeks back he then "applies" at another financial institution for me, please keep in mind that according to me my credit health should be ok as that is what he promised. He cannot provide documentation on any of the things he has done, he dodges the questions about returning deposits and he has nothing to show for what he is doing. So he then encourages me to go the institution where he supposedly made the application. This shows how he actually believes the lies that he tells and to make you believe that he is doing what he says. I then go to the institution, ask them to check on the system for any application and the truth is revealed. No history of any application. He is quite shrude because he asks you for all you documentation from id number, payslip and even letter of employment. When confronted with this of course its not his fault, he does not know why the systems are not interlined. the last 3 months its been back and forth, lies, promises and no materializing of anything . Ricardo is a **** and uses phrases like "Keep the faith" Don't give up" "Trust me". Strange that his whatsapp never has a pic of him simply "bible quotes" When he is asked to send something that I can have as proof he is never able to provide anything. Ricardo is running a scheme, not sure what to call him Ricardo or Granwald. He is the man with all the connections from credit bureau to connections in various institutions. He has nothing but stories and lies. Not only have I been ****med but my colleagues as well. Who knows how many people out there has experienced the same problem. Please watch out for the Ponzi church goer. Ricardo De Kock aka Granwald Scott the day of reckoning will come and he will have to answer for all the things he has done wrong to people. He merely collects deposits selling you the hope of financial freedom. He is actually a seasoned **** and con artist as he is always available on any of his 3 numbers he has. Its all a show. His numbers are as follows: ********** ********** ********** He operates in the Jhb area, or so he says. None of us has met him as he only liaise via email or on the above numbers. Watch out for him
