BEYOND POOR SERVICE - NEVER USE RHENUS LOGISTICS!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could, I would not even give them a star at all. My experience with Rhenus was just pathetic. My order was supposed to be delivered on a Thursday afternoon. I contacted them to inform them of my mobile number that just changed and politely requested that they update my details to ensure the driver had my new number and a means to contact me. I took the day off from work to ensure that I could receive my parcel. Around 15h00 I noticed that the tracking portal status was "Delivery attempt failed". I immediately contacted them and they told me the driver was already on his way back to the depot in JHB (I'm based in PTA). I was told that the driver did not even attempted to come to my house but tried calling me on my old number which I specifically updated the morning before the shipment even left the depot!

Non the less, it was easter weekend and they promised me that they would deliver on Saturday. On Saturday they contacted me and said thy did not have drivers. I did not want any of their excuses and demanded they made a plan. After speaking to the OPS Manager who eventually threw the phone down in my ears a driver contacted me later to advise he was on his way to PTA with my parcel.

I patiently sat waiting at home for my parcel when I noticed the van driving passed my house. I jumped in my car and eventually managed to pull him over 2 kms from my home. He told me he did not have data on his phone to use google maps or any other map service and also could not contact me as he did not have any airtime. He was on his way back to JHB once again!!!!!!! HOW THE HELL ????

I received my parcel but I will make sure no one in my family or friend circle EVER use them! The serv ice was just astonishingly ****!!!!!!
