Do NOT let these sharks tow you!

When you just had a MVA on the N2 on a Friday after midnight, & your cellphone battery is flat because your charge-cable is not in the car, the last thing you want to do is be selective of who tows your car... but think twice if it's these guys. I told them on the scene that I'm with Outsurance & asked if this would be problem...they said no. I asked that my vehicle be towed to my home... three times... they insisted that it must go to their yard & eventually, still being in shock & feeling dead-tired, I agreed. Saturday morning I phoned Outsurance & started the claim process. On Monday I went to visit the yard so I could remove my personal items from the car, take pictures of the damage, etc. I went to the address on the towing invoice slip I was given. That address does not exist! Now concerned that my car may have been ****** I informed Outsurance. A week goes by playing phone-tag with Outsurance, who also cannot locate this towing service. I decide to try & call the numbers on the invoice one last time & manage to get through to someone. It turns out their location is in the Airport Industria, NOT in Blackheath as per the invoice & relay this info through to Outsurance. Another week goes by in which the Outsurance Assessor is eventually allowed access to the yard to view the vehicle. Now RFS24, which is NOT an Outsurance approved towing service, takes their time in providing Outsurance with their invoice, racking up more storage costs. Eventually, a whole month later, my car is delivered to my home with all my personal items (dash camera, sunglasses, flashlights, AC/DC inverter, clothing, beach towels, etc) that were in the car at the time of the incident, MISSING & the car STILL DAMAGED, since Outsurance refused my claim. (see me review of Outsurance). So folks, be careful who you allow to tow your vehicle. If you see RFS24 on the tow-truck, REFUSE the tow!
