Revzilla - Good Prices, low quality products and no responsibility
i bought a helmet and extra smoked visor with my helmet, when it arrived i noticed the the internal sun visor was not installed in the helmet but laying loose which is not common from what I'm used to. After installing it and trying it on, i immediately noticed that the sun visor distorts right in my line of sight, to the point of disorientating me when i tried walking around with the helmet on, i tried to clean it as it might be residue or something, but the distortion still persisted. i installed the smoked shield and that also has a distortion in it. none of my previous 10 helmets had any distortion, and i mean zero distortion.
i contact Revilla to try and arrange a replacement or a way to resolve this, to what i get a response that that is normal for shields and sun visors to have distortion...as if I've never owned any other helmet before... i tried to explain to customer support agent that distortions are not a common thing , especially when it is right in the line of sight.
i was offered the option of a return, but ill have to carry all the costs, same for replacement items, i was offered $30 credit but considering that my import duties, taxes and return shipping would be more than $140, what would $30 do...it doesn't even cover one of the replacement items.
the only thing needed was for them to send a replacement part and for them to arrange a courier to fetch the defective part, easy and simple.
Just the lack of responsibility for selling defective products and the lack of standing behind their products, is a reminder that you get what you pay for...or in this case, you get who you pay..
