Revonash - Shocking repairs

Complaint: Revonash – Shocking Repairs, R49,000 Later and My Car Is Worse

I am lodging this complaint to warn others and request action against Revonash for the extremely poor repairs on my Ford EcoSport.

In December 2024, I paid Revonash over R12,700 for a major service and timing belt replacement. Shortly after, the vehicle broke down on the highway. Revonash claimed the issue was unrelated and charged me an additional R26,000+ for more repairs. In total, I paid over R49,000 and was without a car for weeks.

When the vehicle was returned:

It still had the engine warning light on.

The engine misfired, knocked, and went into limp mode.

The interior had oil stains, and the service book was not stamped.

An independent mechanic from S&S Auto Solutions later confirmed:

The timing belt job was done incorrectly, likely causing engine seizure.

The camshaft sensor was glued in place.

Turbo bolts were loose, and the exhaust was unsecured.

Vacuum pipes and the sump plug were patched with Pratley Steel.

Excessive silicone sealant was used unprofessionally.

The coil pack is broken, and critical bolts were not replaced.

I contacted Revonash multiple times and was eventually blocked on WhatsApp.

This is unacceptable. I have escalated the matter to MIOSA and consulted a legal advocate.

I am requesting:

A full refund for incorrect and negligent repairs.

Compensation for additional repairs now needed.

Accountability from Revonash for returning my car in worse condition than before.

Consumers, please be warned — do not trust Revonash with your vehicle. Their poor workmanship and lack of accountability have caused me severe financial and emotional stress.
