hounding the wrong person

I am being plagued by REVCO for an account that is not associated with me. I have politely asked them to remove my number from their list as I am not the person involved and they have not done so. I am saddened that there is so much debt in our country, but please I ask that they do not make their problems mine, and that they remove my number immediately.
