Revamp-it ****

This company is a disgrace. On the original quote I was referred to their operations manager, for an installation date, which sounds great and profesional. In the meantime the operations manager is only a sub-contractor to Revamp-it who just does the physical work but carries no responsibility. Once he gets his money he is gone.

Less than 2 years after installing "torch-on" waterproofing on my roof it started delaminating on each and every joint. When I phoned the so called operations manager, he told me that I should contact Revamp-it as he no longer does any work for them. I had to pay a "refundable" inspection fee for Revamp-it to come out in order to see if it was a guarentee claim. Again I had to talk to their Operations Manager in order to find out when the complaint was going to be attended to. Just another sub-contractor.

I was not satisfied on what he told me how they were going to carry out repairs and I was referred back to Revamp-it owner, Mr Lionel de Leeu.

After a lenghty, heated discussion it was clear that they were not going to honour the guarentee and they were just to patch up a very poor installation from the start.

Needless to say, the so called "Refudable inspection fee" has never been refunded.

This company is a disgrace and the owner is a well dressed, seemingly good mannered business man but in fact he is a dishonest *******, knowing that he is going to take your money, giving you **** service and his gaurentee is not worth the paper it is written on.
