GEPF: RESIGNATION VS RETIRE
It was an absolute honour to work with DHEVAN NAICKER in an attempt to decide wheter I should resign or retire from GEPF. This was not a light decision to make & Dhevan used my unique circumstances to guide me in making a informed decision, that will benefit me, my spouse & in end leave a legacy to my kids. The more I see SOE's in financial distress, I was worried about my GEPF pension future & had some major queries. Dhevan not only guided me to make a decision (which I believe I made correct decision) by guiding me through tax; 1/3; monthly pension; GEPF rules; medical aid; life insurance; sll my policies etc. I have geatest admiration for his honesty & transparency throughout; accompanied by his willingness to assist with the simplest enquiry, even after hrs. He really deserves a 5 star rating for going beyond the extra mile! It is really obvious that he has a genuine passion for helping people.
