I had a one on one session with Dhevan Naicker on Monday the 28/08/2023, regarding resigning from the GEPF and investing my 2/3 from my pension in different funds. He sistematically took me through the different types of investment funds. What is short term and what is long term and how it can benefit you and how much you can lose if you were wrongly advised. He proved to me that even the best insurances companies can let you lose your money if you do not read the fine print . What makes me comfortable in allowing Dhevan to invest my money is the fact how meticulous he is and providing evidence to proof his point. I still have a long way to go but my advice to current GEPF members speak to Dhevan, he will give you advice that will set you at peace. We hear many rumors, but it's best to speak to your trusted financial advisor as he knows more than your trusted colleague. Trust me
