I was a victim of an online purchase and never got the goods ordered. The retailer involved supp**** a telephone number that was never answered as well as registering their namesake on Whatsapp that also were never answered. However the company has a professional website from which they sell their products.

Hereunder follows all the details of the purchase. I was looking for a dstv decoder and was directed to an ad which displays decoders being offered from various retail companies. I selected the decoder called a DSTV Explora 3A from Retail Depot who was selling it at the cheapest price of R699.00. After paying for it by debit card I received an immediate response thanking me for the business as well as giving me an order no. LD1125E8DV via Email. They also confirmed that the package is being prepared and on my request to be delivered via Postnet within 12/14 days. I was also told that I must wait for a tracking no that will be sent to me by sms. To date I have not received any notification. I must have phoned them a dozen times as well as trying to contact them via whatsapp on a cell phone no. provided. The phone rings forever. Nobody answers. My whatsapp messages also don’t get answered. I went to the Police Station here in Pinelands but the sergeant there told me that he thinks that it is a matter of poor service and I must get in touch with the company who do not pick up their phone nor do they respond to both email and whatsapp messages. I asked him how do I do this when I stay in Cape Town and the company I am dealing with is in Gauteng. He just shrugged his shoulders. I'm not sure now if this company actually exist. I put in a bogus name and address to test their system by selecting an item on their website. I got an immediate response to say your order has been accepted. The order no was different from my order no. I received. Payment was to be effected via eft. (see below)

My opinion about all this. Looking like one big ****. I f anyone see any ad of them my suggestion is to stay clear or you would lose all your money.
