Retail Connex Store - Do Not Buy From This store.

Disgusting company. I purchased an Oculus Quest 2 at R6400 plus R90 delivery fee on 24th February 2022 for my son's birthday on 2nd March 2022. They stated 2-5 business days delivery. I followed up several times as the tracking app showed that it was still being processed and not packed or shipped. I finally got a response saying that they had backlogs and it should be shipped by the end of the following week or the week after. I explained that it was for my son's birthday which had now passed. I did not receive any response or compassion regarding this.

We never got any other response from them again - they were silent. Their contact phone number was never answered. One of the Bid or Buy consultants I spoke to said that this supplier is notoriously late in delivering. This is not acceptable on any level.

They are misrepresenting their expected delivery time and their customer service is non-existant.

We ended up getting a Bid or Buy team leader to contact the company to demand a refund. After 4 more days, we finally received a refund (2 weeks after paying for the item). I think if the team leader had not gotten involved, we would still be waiting. (Please note that Bid or Buys buyer protection is limited to just R5000) therefore had we not received a full refund from the seller, we would have been out of pocket by almost R1500.

I do not remember having ever received such bad, uncaring service from a company before and would not advise anybody to purchase anything from Retail Connex Store.

I seriously suspect that this supplier might have been acting **********ly by advertising stock that it did not have on hand - why else would there be such a delay and no communication. Bid or Buy said that they would do an investigation into this seller. Hopefully, they will be removed from the Bid or Buy platform.
