HORRIBLE
i had a loan business loan with them and i used my details to register. I sent them the company registration document which clearly indicates 2 directors, even though i used my personal details to apply. I resigned from the company and i sent them the document from the CIPC confirming my resignation from the company. The remaining owner of the company defaulted on payments and is avoiding them. I gave them 2 numbers to call this guy and they came back to me saying regardless of every information that i have given them, i am still liable for the payment and they will continue calling and sending me emails and threatening me with legal action because it was my information used for the application. I am being harassed each and every other day and i do not know what to do. They wanted proof that i have resigned and i gave it to them so i wonder how am i still liable for a company that i am longer part of.
Horrible collections department. The accounts have no workflow to indicate previous communications done, Every time an agent calls, one has to repeat the information that they have repeated 100 times...

A point of correction, this is not a new owner, when the application was done we did send the CIPC document showing 2 directors, Myself and him and please also note that whatever I was signing at that time I did so as a director that is representing the company not on my personal capacity. Your team called me to say until they get the acknowledgement of debt form signed by Mandla, I am still liable, even though I sent you guys the document proving that I'm no longer a director of that company. I do not accept that. My point is that Mandla doesn't have to sign any acknowledgement of debt, as per the CIPC records, he's the sole director therefore is responsible and that is because he did not inherit the company, he was there from the start and the proof is on the company document sent when the application was done. Kindly channel your resources towards Mandla and stop harassing me. At the moment I have done all that i can but it's disappointing to be told still that I am liable for something that I can't action.

What was the use of me getting a resignation document from the CIPC in the first place if all you wanted was the acknowledgement of debt from Mandla? Why also was I not told about this when I was being pressurized to produce the resignation letter from the CIPC? I could have got both these documents if your communication was clear from the start. I went through thick and thin trying to get Mandla to sign the CIPC resignation documents and I can't go through that process again, sorry.
