Bad service at MR PRICE Collonade Mall in Pretoria, Zambezi.

I prefer staying anonymous, I'm from Pretoria. Yesterday I walked into one of our trusted retail outlets called MR PRICE in Collonade Mall in Pretoria. It was sad how I was mistreated. I walked into the shop while they were still opened it was 18:51. I was looking for morning sleepers and ended seeing these nice trainer trousers and I took two of them.

While I was still looking for those morning sleepers, I came across these trainer tekkies and only to find out that it's the only one that is idling...you could see that the person who left it there was also not satisfied with the service he/she got from staff personnel. I think something needs to be done there cos there was no one to help customers on their floor except for the cashiers and even the cashiers too were not keen to help. I worked at a shop before in my life. What I saw from that store was something else.

I looked for the other tekkie in the store and couldn't find it. I even went to their receiving to atleast get what I need and let them knock off cos it was almost that time. I was told..."ehhh...abuti, nna ke chaisitse!" and at that there were still other customers. The lady who told me that she was wearing a MR PRICE uniform but no name tag on but I saw her face cos she was eating a fruit at that time. Then the other gentleman came across and said to me "we are closing and they won't help you with the purchasing can you atleast try to hurry...?" I did as he asked and went to the till points with that one tekkie. Then I came across three cahiers who were chatting and who happened to take their time to assist.

One of them needed up calling me her name tag was written "Grace". I explained to her before she starts tilling my items then she said to me I must come back tomorrow cos now they're close and it will them some time for them to Check where the other tekkie can be found. The gentleman that asked me to hurry up came as well and said that I must come tomorrow for the other tekkie cos the person who works on that department has already left.

No heartfeelings but the attitude I got from those people was so improper. Cos if I was one else or actually if only they were dealing with a white person their approach would've been different. I was so disappointed with the service and didn't wanna cause a scene and I let them be...I had to understand cos they've been there for the whole day and maybe it was busy during the day and they all had a bad day.

It is sad how our black brothers and sisters treat us black young customers. I am so ashamed of that bad service I got from that store.

Hoping that such behaviours will be sorted out.
