Sale gone wrong
On 16 Sep 2025 we received a quote for a LS2 Chev engine from Restomod in Mossel bay, guy named Joe assisted us and was very eager to assist. Assured us he has stock, so we paid him the full amount as requested for the engine. The more I followed up on when we will receive this engine, the more excuses there were. Neeedles to say on 10 November 2025 after us being tired of waiting and asking I told him to refund us if he can't supply. On 11 November 2025 he rep**** saying he will refund us. And I forwarded confirmation of banking details to Restomod. On the 14th of Nov 2025 I asked when refund will be made and he confirmed it will be processed. I asked on the 15th, and again on the 19th where I then got a proof of payment on the 21st of Nov 2025 only for a partial amount. On the 24th I asked again for the rest of the refund, which he rep**** that it will be done. On the 25th he paid a partial amount again and I asked on the 26 when we can expect the rest, and after that I asked daily as we do not get service. We have to pay everything upfront, but they refund us in drips and drabs. I received another partial payment on 3 Dec 2025 and finally the last bit on the 4th of Dec 2025. This company is unreliable, ************* and full of excuses. And we will not recommend them for any projects.
