Bossa restaurant Sunningdale 7441

We had a disaster of an experience on Monday Burger night at Bossa Restaurant in Sunningdale on the 2nd August. I was asked if the Owner could call me and i said Absolutely Yes and then gave the manager my details. What is very weird is that after we left the restaurant i was told by one of the staff that the owner was actually at the restaurant but made NO attempt to come over to us. We were a table of 6 and my wife and i arrived at 5.30 pm and ordered a whisky and my wife had a glass if wine, the rest of my guests arrived at 6pm. The waitron asked my guests if they wanted something to drink and that was the Last Time after trying to re order that she approached us Our order was taken at about 6.30 pm and eventually after asking why we had not received our food which was about an hour later was told that it was coming, yes it came But it was only ONE DISH ( burger cold but chips were hot ) but we still had not received cutlery, i got up to look for a knife and fork but could not find and eventually i got hold of another waitron who was kind enough to find some cutlery, after a few minutes none of us received our food and kept asking but still no response. By now my guest had finished eating her food and we decided to all get up and walk out but by now IT WAS 7.45 PM and to find another restaurant we would probably not have suffecient time to eat before curfew and as most restaurant kitchens close before. So we sat this horrific experience out. The managers came to our table apologising and had to then RE TAKE OUR ORDER AGAIN. About 15 minutes later we received our food but still no cutlery which took a little while longer. Mmmmmmm NOW 2 of the dishes should have mushroons ( i wish i had taken pictures ) Literally 4 QUARTER SMALL PIECES and 2 of the dishes should have had ****** Gland sauce one beef and the other grilled chicken which was over done and had about a teas**** of sauce smeared over the top of the burger and the other burger was with avocado and bacon, and was just a little slither of both. All the dishes came with chips and onion rings BUT onion rings were Yes 2 per plate only. In conclusion another manager came over and tried to explain why the service, quality of food was the worst that they have ever had as he had to go out to one of there other stores during the evening etc etc etc Anyway after realising that he was digging a deeper hole for himself used his initiative and asked us if we would please come back and that he would make good and we all said NEVER AGAIN. He then said that he would not charge us for what we had and as it was also our anniversary gave my wife and i a voucher to come back so credit to him as ge tried to rescue this Very Bad situation. However that was Monday night and today is Wednesday and the owner has STILL NOT had the decency to have contacted me and all this is just the tip of the iceberg. From Alan.
