Cruel ******* Rental agents

Complaint about Resi investment group Manager (rental agent in Cape Town) Bridget Echardt.

I stayed at the Hub for 12 months under difficult circumstances e.g Property getting moldy due to lack of ventilation within the apartment, no attention when something is broken or bulb fused etc. I’ve raised these issues with maintenance and continually nothing was done.

Fast track to the current matter at hand. Bridget knew for months that I will be leaving the apartment but Lockdown happened and Plans had to change obviously we communicated those fact and had an understanding. I told her about me moving out and no one arranged inspection with me, so came a time I have to move and still no one set date and time for inspection with me on site. So I assume they did their own inspection and made up things so as to keep my deposit back.

Upon the R9000 I payed as per the contract I received R71 back. I followed up with her and I have been up and down with her regarding my money. Today she gave me a rude attitude and telling me she is doing me a favor.

I have never seen such a behavior in my life I’m soo not impressed with her and now I’m forced to put this complaint in the site ( not a threat). She took every opportunity to bully me and abuse her higher power as the agent manager and inconvenienced me in every little way and continued to show me how cruel she can be. It’s a month and a half later and I haven’t received my money.

Rental property *******ion is real and it need to stop. She is even avoiding my deposit’s interest Topic.

I want my money.
