I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated by Rescue Is Life. I app**** to adopt a dog and was declined because I mentioned that the dog would be sleeping outside in a kennel. As a first-time pet owner, I was simply unsure about where a dog should or shouldn’t sleep. When they explained their concern, I immediately responded and said I was completely fine with the dog sleeping inside. After that, I received no constructive response. Instead, I was told I could never make another application and was then blocked. There was no opportunity for discussion, guidance, or reconsideration — just a complete shutdown of communication. As someone genuinely wanting to provide a loving home, this experience was upsetting and discouraging. First-time adopters need education and support, not to be dismissed and blocked without explanation. I hope Rescue Is Life reconsiders how they communicate with potential adopters in the future.
