FAULTY VEHICLE - DEALERSHIP DOESN'T CARE

I have had issues with my vehicle for some time, which I would report when I took my car in for servicing at Renault Bryanston, 2 of these issues where that my clutch seemed faulty and that the vehicle seemed to have issues with its power. While I was under a maintenance plan, Renault informed me that these were not issues but rather minor design flaws (because of the model of car that I bought).

Last month (28 March) was the first service that fell outside of my maintenance plan - therefore, I was going to pay for that CASH. It was a major service. When I went to fetch my vehicle, the service department informed me that they felt I needed to replace my clutch as it seemed faulty and that it would cost me +-R14k. This was the SAME issue I had told them about when I got the car. I informed them of this and the lady behind the counter could care less. When I refused to let them look at the clutch, she said "Which means you're fine with driving a faulty car, I'm sure". I couldn't believe it.

Then, one month later, my brother was driving my car on the highway when, suddenly, all of the lights in the vehicle switched on and the car completely shut down. It was by complete grace that he wasn't harmed as the car swerved from the fast lane to the yellow-lane on the other side of the road. Insurance towed the vehicle to Renault and they then ADAMENTLY informed me that I would need to pay +-R1k for them to do a diagnostics check on the vehicle to determine the issue. I was stupefied. I asked them if their workmanship is really that low that a car can have a major service and completely shut down 4 weeks later?? The SAME LADY at the counter could still care less, she just knew that it was time for her to "knock off" and that she would take it up with her manager after the public holiday.

The fact that there is no care for the possibility of loss of life is beyond deplorable. This car has had issues and this dealership EVIDENTLY did not want to take responsibility for it. Instead, they keep wanting to shrug the issues off or make me pay for them. That's all that seems to matter. I am completely disgusted, to say the least.
