Faulty Sandero 2020 sold and the dealership refuses to take it back.

The service from this branch is absolutely terrible. With attitudes such Terrance, pre owned sales manager and Alvin, the dealer principal, no wonder the business is running the way it is. There is no good example shown by the leaders.

- 31 March 2022 : Received renault Sandero 2020 from Thabo and was told that it was a demo model, making me the first owner. - 04 April 2022: Emailed Thabo about issues that needed to be sorted out that I experienced while driving the car. Thabo said he will confirm. - 08 April 2022 : Still no response from Thabo so I email again and was given the date of 12 April 2022 to bring the car in. - 12 and 19 April 2022: Only wheel alignment was done. - 8 May 2022: Emailed Thabo for a date and each time he confirmed, he changed it because the work shop manger was not in. 25 May 2022 : Contacted Terence, Pre-owned department manager and gave me date of 30 May 2022. Two of the few things I complained about was my brakes and wiper blades which according to them the brakes were fine and wipers too. - End of July: took the disks and brakes to be checked. Both brake pads and disks to be replaced costing me R3000 , of which only half was refunded from the Branch - 9 September 2022: Spent 15-20 minutes trying to start my car after leaving work, and everyday after that - 15 September 2022 : Booked car in for a service at Renault Northcliff where they said my buttery failed the diagnostic test and needs to be replaced as well as the wipers. - 16 September 2022: Had the car taken for a second opinion and confirmed it needed to be replaced and that the battery is not the original one that came with the car. Terrence also mentioned that the car was traded in with the current battery thats in the car. All this is being said after the vehicle was sold to me as a “Demo”. My radio does not work and the drivers window does not work sometimes. - 03 October 2022: Contacted Lucy, senior consultant customer relations, who escalated the matter for me but the Branch said they are in no position to take the car back.

I have reported this to the MIO and Still waiting for a response.

This has totally put me off buying another renault or even suggesting it to family and friends.
