AVOID Rentalcars.com, bunch of *******😡😡😡 I selected online that pick up and drop off points were different, however only when the confirmation email arrived did I see it had defaulted to the same point. I then tried to correct this online, but it would not update. I finally called the phone number that popped up. The consultant I got through to then informed me a 1 way trip is not possible and could offer no explanation as to why the system had allowed my selection to be made and payment taken. I was also told that if I cancel the booking, full payment will be taken. I decided to then contact Hertz directly to see if a plan could be made directly with them. in the meantime, I did cancel the Insurance Full cover on the booking. I received an email to say the cover had been cancelled. Now today, I was finally able to get a hold of Hertz Lanseria directly. The consult informed me yes, the drop off point can be changed to a different one & they will update the booking when we collect the car later, however, in the meantime, Rentalcars.com has put through the transaction today & after I cancelled the Insurance for the full amount ( car rental + insurance). Rentalcars.com are as far as I'm concerned not only ****** *********** but also a bunch of *******. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE LYING *******S.
