rentalcars.com sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay VERY VERY FAR AWAY. Refunds and processes hidden in very fine-print and hiding behind obtuse processes supposedly to be known to local rental companies. Their rates appear great and they sub-contract to a local rental company. My credit card had R500,000 available for a 3 day rental. On trying to rent informed a credit check required. This leaves an unwanted footprint for a 3 day rental???? Hertz gave me a cancellation number and said full refund would occur. 3 weeks later no refund and rentalcars.com inform I waited too long. No refund. reservation no ***. Hertz refund number 13 KWZG
