Rentalcars.com are ****mers

I booked a rental for the 30th of May 2024 online via rentalcars.com. This rental was to be picked up at OR Tambo airport at Woodford around 9:00am. I went to pick up the car and to pay the deposit but i was told i needed a credit card or a cheque card in my name. I did not have that and i did not know this prior to booking. The website went and took money regardless. I called rentalcars and I struggled and i was told their website is down, so they can not help me on the 30th for a refund. They are still refusing to refund me. These people are a huge ****. Booking via a third party is really not good at all.
