RENTALCARS.COM A SHADY COMPANY

Company ********ly deducted funds off my Mother's banking account. An E-mail was sent to my mother indicating that the transaction has been cancelled with her rental car booking. She had to then book at another rental company. But only to discover that Rentalcars.com deducted the whole amount any way. When my Mother enquired and stated that they themselves cancelled the booking, they stated that a new booking was made under a different reference number. This change was NEVER escalated to my Mother in any form (Telephone call, E-Mail, sms, nothing). She has E-Mailed Rentalcars.com proving that she has not received an E-Mail from them indicating any changes. The original booking (that was cancelled) was the ONLY transaction (with a specific reference number) which she gave permission for payment. After the query for the ******** deduction did Rentalcars.com give the new reference number (which was never relayed to my Mother) They have stipulated what process to follow to dispute said ******** deduction, but after numerous attempts to lodge a dispute to claim her funds back, it is still not done. Their website does not allow to lodge that specific dispute. 4 Emails later, requesting any person to contact her to assist with this process, they keep avoiding the matter and taking responsibility, so customer service is non existent and ******** deductions from clients is happening. They doing what ever they please to deduct ******** funds of clients accounts and when it gets to the point to return the funds (upon giving Rentalcars.com) they avoid the matter completely and send the client on a chase that has now been dragging for weeks. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RENTALCARS.COM.
