No refund

I booked a car for rent had to cancel the day of pick up and just because i canceled after the pick up time they didn't pay me back any refund at all they to the whole payment i had to make for the booking so i lost 2200 rand. I did not know that they dont pay refunds back. When i tried calling and asking them they cant help. I feel they steel people money.
