Most cheapest car turned into the most expensive.

Last week I visited cape town & used http://www.rentalcars.com/ to hire a most cheapest car which was showing R 960 on their portal for 3 days. So I choose it, when I **** a payment online, I was expecting only 960 to get deducted. But 2 transactions happened & I got informed that R960 for Rent & R1153 for insurance is reserved. The car I booked belongs to Dollar Thrifty through Rental Cars. Now when I visited Thrifty to pickup the car they asked me R6000 Deposit & R60 Processing fees & 750 as I wanted to submit it to George Airport.

After I submitted a car on the 3rd day. Another morning I got another message from my bank that R1119 has been deducted towards Dollar Thrifty, I still don't know why they deduct this money for, neither I got my deposit back yet.

So in short I have paid approximately R10,000 till date for 3 days rental car, which I was expecting to get in R960.

I would recommend never ever book your rental car through http://www.rentalcars.com . Specially never book car form Dollar Thrifty. They will get control of your bank account & will keep sucking your money.
