Dont trust rentalcars.com

Rentalcars.com 's rental insurance doesn't work. I had an accident (not my fault) with a rental car booked rentalcars.com, but thought I alright as I took out full insurance from Rentalcars - called RentalCover . The local rental car company - Localiza - did not recognize Rentalcars insurance, and made me pay an estimated amount right away, in cash. They said Rentalcars would refund me. The RentalCover / Rentalcars website say they will refund you in 5 days. 3 months later I am still waiting!! Don't get RentalCover insurance from Rentalcars, but rather directly from the local car rental company when you collect your car. That way you don't have to pay out of your own pocket and the processing of the claim is not your problem. Actually, don't use Rentalcars.com at all! - read the reviews about them.
