Rental warehouse and CenterPoints disrespect for tenants rights .

Rental warehouse do not respect and consider the rights of the tenants. I lived at the building in Boksburg called CenterPoint of which Rental Warehouse is the agent. The water bill is unbelievable. How does a couple in a batchelor water bill read R400-500 a month. We where not at the flat for the month of April but the water bill was higher than the one in March. In all the 3 years of living there not once did the owners do any renovation off an kind.The whole building is infested with ****roaches and tenants are expected to fumigate on their own. How effective is that in a block of flats?Not forgetting then there's the rats .

When I contacted rental warehouse requesting a explanation regarding being overcharged the response I got was that the amounts come from the owners therefore they cannot give me answers and that they werenot allowed to pass on contact details of the owners. When I asked who will answer my questions then, I was told to "Take it or leave it"

My deposit refund was R2850. After the exit inspection I sighed and acknowledge d that 1. The window handle was broken 2. Wall needed painting

After calling and emailing for three weeks I got a payment of R792.

I demand a breakdown of expenses that lead to so much. All to find that the owners again decided to add a bathroom Ceilling replacement and labour to my account . I wasn't informed of the changes of the items the exit inspection. I'm being charged for painting of walls that where not repainted in 3 years and also a bathroom Ceilling and labour. I m writing this review to warn people. Rental warehouse will stamp on your rights as tenants to keep their clients happy . The owners of CenterPoint don't care about the happiness of the tenants all want is money.
