AVIS/BUDGET HOW PATHETIC

<p>I have never felt tocheated and ****** from when I tried to do business with the pathetic Avis ?Budget. Budget was once upon a time a good company but now?? Pathetic. Listen to this:</p> <p>I am in Mafikeng and want to arrange a hire car for my finance in Jeffereys Bay. No problem, I go to Mafikeng and do the paperwork and creditcard etc and I sign a proxy form which is faxed to Jeffereys. Quick quick, or so am I used to at Bidvest Car Rental.</p> <p>LOL. The price for super cover for 6 days is about R1100 excluding the extra driver cost. Quite acceptable. When I arrived at Avis/Budget in Mafikeng I suddenly was quotedR2600! R1500 exstra to send a simple fax. I in no uncertain terms told them where they could get off. Phone the call centre! Even worse. No explination but now the same car costs about R200 per day more just because I am not in Jeffereys Bay. This is the closest to blatent ***** and theft that I have ever experienced.</p>
