Terrible rental junkie experience

Terrible car hire. Clutch hardly worked on the car . I drove the car about 10km away from the depot . I kept thinking that I would get used to the clutch . Had my dad test it in Rondebosch and he said it was undrivable and the clutch was faulty . He has driven car and hired cars for 50 years . He said it was too dangerous to drive . Rent a cheapie refused to cancel the contract but made me take another car . At this stage I did not trust their cars . However the new Cars clutch was fine although the car wasn’t in great shape . However rent a cheapie made me pay a large amount for collecting the other car with the problem clutch . They told me the clutch was fine and basically refused to believe my dad and I . Terrible traumatic experience . Felt like it was more a rent a junkie
