Rentacheapie watch out for the T&C
we have used Rent cheapie for a few year but this last time was absolutely terrible...the T&C are crazy and they will fine you for every possible problem but they do not feel responsible if they give you a car with hand break grip stuck on with tape. Then there are the hubcaps...if you rent from them take off every hub cap and take pictures as they will fine you for every scratch possible. To top it off make sure you check your credit card to check that they refund you what little you have left off your deposit. We went to Wise Wheels in Cape Town that is also a local company and they have been very helpful and easy going.

All rental companies will charge for repairs when the vehicle is returned with damages. We weren't able to process your refund quickly as you wouldn't give us your details to do so.

24 Mar 2021, 11:02Please do not try and excuse your behaviour....yes they are standard T&C and many I understand but how is it possible that us customers have to abide by all your T&C and we have no protection...your hand grip is a perfect example and you should be apologising to me. You messed up with return of deposit and still giving me a hard time. no excuses for your behaviour and unfit cars!
