Not telling you upfront of costs

Hi<br> <br> Made an appointment with Ollie of Rent a Cheapie on 29th March to rent a car for my mother. After I requested a quote on the 25th of March; no response other than electronic acknowledgement of receipt.<br> <br> On visiting their shop I was told that due to my mother's age she would have to pay a certain surcharge. I was not happy but accepted.<br> <br> Because I didn't want to put her under strain I arranged for all payment and she could just collect the car on her arrival with submission of her driver's license. This according to Ollie.<br> <br> Just have to say I am generally in Pretoria but was on vacation in Cape Town, therefore I could arrange everything right there. <br> <br> When my mother actually went to collect the car on Sunday 10 April as arranged a certain Darren was on duty. Now suddenly due to the fact that she was travelling outside a radius of 200km there was another R800 added to the bill. Nothing to this effect was ever disclosed before.<br> <br> The rental was for unlimited mileage.<br> <br> Never before have I ever rented a vehicle with such sub-limit. When you rent a car with unlimited mileage it is unlimited. Because it is out of the ordinary hoped for big sign!<br> <br> Regards
