Rensolar website misleading information
Rensolar is advertising product on their website (Deye 8kw hybrid inverter for R23 950). I placed an online order on 15 May 2023. On 16 May 2023, I followed up with Rensolar through Whatsapp to confirm whether my order was received in order. I was told that their online system was hacked and that it is under maintenance. They do not take online orders. The price of the Deye 8kw hybrid inverter is R39 000.
I enquired whether the pricing on their website is correct. No response has been received from Rensolar.
Rensolar is aware that their online system has been hacked but do not provide any warning on their website which still shows online ordering with bank account details for payments.
Please be careful of Rensolar, particularly misleading information on their website and poor response to queries.
A suggestion was made to take down the site until it has been confirmed. It was also suggested to include a message on the website that the online orders has been hacked and that it is not operational at the moment so as to prevent unsuspecting customers falling prey to hackers.
Rensolar responded with a crude message "We have no time for wicked witches".
Rensolar service has gone from poor to pathetic.
