Life with Renprop Managing Agents - A Comedy of Errors

Sales guy Oscar did a great job selling Renprop, sadly the after sales service hasn't been great. At a high level, within the first year we asked for Mel to be removed from our account due to errors. We asked for Butch to be removed for ethics issues/irregularities at our AGM. Ken asked one of the trustees to be his "eyes and ears" on the complex, if you are doing nothing wrong, why ask that? We had two POPI violations, one was our financials mixed up with another complex's levy role and they got our levy role. No apology or explanation what happened or what procedures were put in place to stop it happening again. The second when an employee had access to our information without our permission. When they asked for an increase, we said no due to service issues and numerous complaints from owners. Then a rude email from Bernadette, (it did come in handy as an example of what we were not looking for with MA's tendering for our business). A complaint to the MD about their vision, values and lack of customer service was not seen as important enough for the MD to respond personally.

Now we have found replacements for them, with excellent credentials, a company who prides itself on customer experience and supports and guides its trustees and are also R2k per month cheaper. Renprop does not accept our resignation as they need to protect the Body Corporate.

The body corporate needs protecting from Renprop which is why we are moving. One neighbour keeps asking what they are hiding. I have no idea, but I am thinking of starting a blog, Life with Renprop.
