Renault car repairs

A year ago we sent our Renault to company Reno-Tech where we asked is it worth fixing the issues on the car or should we just get rid of it. Well the owner Chris Fielding told us no, he'll fix the issues for us no problem. It initially went in for injector faulty, a week later we got feedback that there was more issues. Well from then on all the **** started the car was by him from mid-October 2015 till first week in Dec 2015. Got it back and it was worse than it was before. We gave it back in January and again the car was by him every week in and out in and out. We were told no it's only this and then only that and so it went on and on. We have not seen our car since April 2016. We contacted the Consumer Protection Act what a waste of time as they cannot help you at all. They don’t return your call or even bother to give you feedback. When I eventually got hold of them I was told that we sent the conclusion agreement letter through and that is the end of it for them. They don’t contact the other party to follow up and they don’t call back to give you feedback either that's not there job. They only do a hearing and if the parties have found an agreement that's where it ends for them...so what is the use of the Consumer Protection Act? Why do we have this in our country if there's nothing they can help you with?

We have been up and down with WhatsApp and phone calls etc. etc. Today we went to the company Chris took our car to and they told us that it's going to cost another R30000-R40000 to fix the issues he implemented into the car and then it's not even the end, there's an oil leak and bunch of other issues also which needs to be attended to and he told us that is not his account it'll be from ours. We already paid him R40000 to fix the "injector issue" it initially went in for. His got story after stories after excuse after excuse every day is a different story and he claims he understands our frustration but how can he. We've basically been without a 2nd car for 1year. The Renault is a company car, we are using our personal vehicle as a company car and for all the other work we have to do on a daily basis. I have 2 kids that goes to day-care I had to hire a caretaker to collect them from school and look after them in the afternoons as that used to be my duty but because not having a 2nd car I'm not able to fulfil that duty. My business has taken a toll as I'm not able to go out and get stock as I should or deliver my work as I should. Same for my husband his not been able to do much of his own work either as I've been depended on him. I've even had to ask my mother who is a pensioner to help with her car which means I have to give her petrol money and if something happens to her car I have to fix it. I'm not a millionaire I don’t have money just laying around to buy another car, and that is not the point.

Chris Fielding was given a job do it right and get the job done.

No matter how we threaten or what we do Chris Fielding just don’t care or get it

Chris Fielding - Reno-Tech - ********** 511
