Portion of my Rental deposit withheld.

They provide the worst service in terms of their rentals. I stayed in one of their complexes in Lindhaven, Roodepoort since 2018 December. On the 5th of March 2021, my apartment unit was broken into whilst I was at work and I had tons of my belongings ******. Unfortunately, the apartment unit opposite mine was also broken into and he too, lost a great deal. whilst I understand their no liability policy, I took it upon myself to move out on the 1st of April 2021.

As agreed, I moved out on the first and the caretaker of the building named George scheduled for inspection. A man full of **** I tell you. When I went in to inspect any damages, which there were none. He claimed there were and told me he'll charge for all sorts paintings and ****. The amount he mentioned was ridiculous as there was no part in the apartment that had drilling, paint removed or none of that.

I came to learn that this is their modis operandi to their tenants when they choose to leave their establishments. They con people and make them pay for all kinds of bogus damages.

I didn't sign the inspection report as I believed he was being utterly stupid and ludacris and today I receive a bank notification with my deposit completely slashed and I only peanuts left.

This is not the end of it, general maintenance takes them 8months to attend. When you report incidents of minor theft ie laundry section, they brush it off. My electricity bill for March21 was much higher than the usual, I swore they charged me like it was winter. Issues with them are countless and I'm warning anyone whose ever interested to rent of other to keep away. You will lose a great deal.
