Claim rejected

I bought my car from Hyundai Plumstead in 2018 and the saleslady offered me this RenewTech for small scratches and dents. I have recently scratched my car at a parking lot. I then emailed my claim from two panel beaters on their list. My claim was declined reason being it has to be 15cm in length. And I then emailed back asking for clarity as I am just asking for the R3000 that I'm covered for and whatever extra cost I will pay myself. I feel that this is a **** by a short term insurer who wants to benefit from the poor. I am not willing to be bul**** like this. The panel beater I went back to is willing to do the job and also they don't understand the reasoning behind this. Can someone please enlighten me. How is the 15cm measured is beyond me. I just want the so called 15cm worth of R3000 which is due to me as I have been paying for two years.
