TERRIBLE SERVICE AND INCOMPETENCE FROM RENEW IT RIVONIA
On the 27th of December 2020 I unfortunately had an accident, the car was towed to renew it in Rivonia and was "fixed" around January/February. From the moment I went to fetch the car I was not happy. My car is red and there was white spray paint on the left side of my car, when I asked about this I was told it would disappear when I go to the car wash, it's November now and that white spray paint is still there after multiple visits to the car wash.
That's not all, I have been driving back and forth to the penal beater for various issues, the wheel alignment(which still doesn't seem to be sorted) a sound, a crack, one other issue that they fixed and now the right shaft (the side of the car where the accident happened). Eventually I sent an email to Brandon to let him know how unhappy I am with the service but even that email was ignored. (the email was sent in April, which was the last time I went to renew it before the 26th of November)
I went to renew it again on 26 November 2021 to get my car checked after coming back from service from the dealership the week before, the dealership advised that the right shaft was damaged. It is quite clear this is something that happened during the accident because it's the same side that was affected by the accident. I was taken to work by the driver after handing over my keys. I then got missed calls from renew it around 2pm, they left about 3 missed calls(I was in a meeting so couldn't answer) I called back after 15 to 20minutes, I was told my car has been checked but all drivers have gone to Pretoria and I need to find a way to fetch my car because they tried calling and I didn't pick up, I tried explaining that I was in a meeting and couldn't pick up hence I called when I was done but they didn't have it
I was angry because when I got to renew it in the Morning, Veronica was in a meeting and I waited about 30 minutes for her to finish, yet I was told all drivers were gone when they had to fetch me from work? how does that work?
When I tried to speak to Veronica who took my car in, she turned the conversation into a 3way conversation where I had to speak to the receptionist, the receptionist would then mute, wait for Veronica's response then convey the message back to me, this went on for a good 2 minutes. And was very rude cause how do you handle matters like that? I realized they were unbothered about how I would get there so I took an Uber (another unplanned expense because of renew its incompetence).
When I eventually got to fetch my car I was told they can see the problem but the issue was not part of the initial fix I have to wait for feedback from insurance. I'm perplexed how my insurance needs to give feedback when renew it is the one that did the initial assessment and SHOULD HAVE PICKED THIS UP. This runaround is really exhausting and I need to know who to speak to in order to get assistance since Veronica and Brandon have not been of help.
It's been 11 months now and I am still trying to sort out issues that should have been sorted out before the car was handed over to me, I would appreciate some kind of traction on this matter as PAYING customers can't be treated this way.
