Shocking Delays, No Communication & Broken Promises – Renew-IT Rivonia

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received from Renew-it Rivonia Auto Body Shop.

My vehicle was towed to their workshop after I was involved in an accident that resulted in front-end damage. From the moment my vehicle arrived, there has been little to no communication from their side. I was never proactively updated and instead had to follow up almost daily just to find out what was happening with my vehicle.

Due to the lack of progress and communication, I visited their premises on two occasions. The second visit was today, after repeated failures to expedite the repairs, despite me clearly explaining that I am currently using a hired vehicle at my own cost, which is becoming extremely expensive.

Upon demanding to see my vehicle today, I was shocked to find that it looked as though work had only started today, despite the vehicle being in their possession for almost three weeks. Even more concerning was seeing the driver’s seat door disassembled, when the damage was strictly to the front of the vehicle, with no explanation provided for this.

To make matters worse, I was informed that the workshop is closing today for the holidays, which means I will only receive my vehicle next year. This is completely unacceptable, especially after I was explicitly promised that the vehicle would be ready by Tuesday, 23 December 2025.

The lack of communication, poor planning, broken promises, and apparent lack of urgency demonstrate a complete disregard for customers and the financial strain caused by delays.

I am requesting:

A formal explanation for the delays and lack of communication

Accountability for the unnecessary disassembly of my vehicle

A clear and realistic completion date, or escalation to management

I would not recommend this branch based on my experience unless serious improvements are made.
