Renew-It Rivonia - Embarrassing and Shocking Service

We sent our car to Renew-It Rivonia through Discovery insure for a tiny scratch repair job. We were told that it would take a week and therefore did not take a courtesy car.

3 weeks later they finally said the car was ready, when we got there to collect it once it had PASSED QC, it was an embarrassment of a job. the paint had bubbles everywhere, there was paint all over the black fender. Nevertheless, we had to have a car. So we agreed to return the car so they could re-do and fix their shoddy work. When it came to my wife telling Discovery about the experience, the guy at Renew-It had the audacity to say the reason for the bad job was because we had rushed them.

they then took the car for a second time and when I went to collect it once told it was ready, I noticed the job was still not right, this time there were still bubbles in the paint and they had now got paint all over the back window. At this stage I started to lose my patience and told the customer service guy ( Isaak ) that I wanted the branch manager. the manager arrived and introduced himself as America. he saw straight away and took pictures.

he begged me for one last chance to get the vehicle right and asked we let them have a third opportunity to fix the car. America assured me he would see the vehicle through the process himself. When I called on the Monday to check on everything I was surprised to hear that America had in fact gone on leave for two weeks. Isak assured me he would see it through and that the vehicle would be ready on Thursday, baring in mind that they have now had our car for 5 weeks. Today when confirmed to come and collect the car, I received a mail ( not even a call ) to say that collection is cancelled as the car is not right and needs to go back to the workshop.

This facility is an embarrassment and I highly suggest that Discovery remove them as service providers.

I will never recommend them too anyone. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE..
