Pathetic service - unwillingness to assist in returning items removed from vehicle

I am sad to say that service providers recommended by companies do not live up to their promises of appropriate services to clients.

I recently had my vehicles front bumper repaired at Re-new it in Rivonia. When my was taken in, I was told it would take 7 days. It took a whopping 29 days! That said, the repair was done professionally.

However, my experience with the Service Consultant allocated to my transaction was more than lacking.l - Sandile.

I could nevervget a hold of him. Nor does he return calls. He did not even bother to walk me to my vehicle on the day of collecting it as he had another client waiting.

Once I got to ny vehicle, I realised that items from my boot were missing. I went right back in. But Sandile was not in his office. I reported the matter to reception, and to the lady who called as a courtesy asking of how my experience went.

I even logged it with their centralized office.

Its taken me a whole month, and still my items have not been returned. I have tried calling the branch, as well as the centralised office, to no avail. Sandile 1st said, its month end and they are busy. Then the excuse was that he will arrange.

Apparently my items were placed in lost and found, but they were never lost! Some person with sticky fingers removed them from my vehicle, and didnt have the audacity to return them to their rightful place. And now i am stuck calling, and requesting them to be returned.

I am utterly disgusted at this behaviour. And Sandile's lack of professionalism in dealing with the matter.

Please be weary of who and how you deal with people from this organization- they dont return calls, or respond to customer requests appropriately
