STAY AWAY FROM RENEW-IT RANDBURG

Such ****py service from Renew-It Randburg.

My car was sent to them in April (11 April 2022) for repairs. I was assisted by Jackie. After almost a month in their care, I was called to come and fetch the car in May. Upon arrival, I found that the reverse camera was not working and was told they will call on Monday to arrange a day that my car should be brought back so they can fix it. Monday i received no call. Instead I called and was told they would call back. The following day which was a Tuesday still there was no call. On Wednesday morning I decided to go there and query about the car. I was then assisted by Mary Jane. She assured me that all will be sorted. I left my car there and it was sent to car boutique who installed some noisy system. I was called to fetch it and still nothing was done. I was instead told to drive all the way to Car Boutique myself and query about my car. Upon arrival there I was informed by them (Car Boutique) that they informed Renew-It Randburg that they don't fix rear cameras and they were shocked at why I was not told.

Renew It then asked me to call my insurer to approve for the rear camera to be fixed and even the insurance (Hollard) were shocked at the behaviour because they had agreed that my car be fixed properly. The insurance offered an apology and told me Renew It would now fix the car.

A month later (29 June) I was called to bring my car so the rear camera can be fixed. The car was sent to VW Fourways and after two weeks i am told to pick up my car and still NOTHING was done. Instead I was informed that they were waiting for a part that would take a further two weeks. It is now SEPTEMBER. My car is STILL NOT fixed, no proper communication from Renew It and I AM FUMING!!!

I REFUSE to wait any longer and WANT MY CAR REPAIRED before i bring in television news camera's as i work as a journalist at the SABC. It can't be that people are treated like this after paying for service.
