Repairs taking longer than necessary without consistent and factual feedback

On 14/11/2017 I took in my vehicle for repairs to Renew It Randburg. Lana (consultant) didn’t advise me on the date of completion only that it’s that time of the year and the vehicle might take long to be repaired without being specific on a date. I didn’t forget to advise her that my rental vehicle is valid for 15 days and she said she would do her best to make sure the car is fixed timeously. After leaving my vehicle I then arranged for vehicle cover which expired today at 11:00am. I have been tracking the progress of the repairs on 'http://login.renew-it.co.za/#' and it’s been stuck on step 3 of 10 since the receipt of the vehicle till yesterday afternoon. Today I see it’s on step 4 of 10, I assume it’s because I called and emailed them yesterday wanting to know when my vehicle will be released. I am left stranded as now I must return the rental vehicle and I still don’t know when my vehicle will be released. I already tried calling (FFW) first for women my insurer to assist me but they tell me about the 15 days and anything extra I will have to pay out of my pocket. The dent on the car is not major for them to have received the parts last Monday (as they confirmed) but the car just came out of panelbeating yesterday. I want my car back as I have nothing to commute with until God knows when the repairs will be done...alternatively Renew-it must arrange a courtesy car for me to use in the meantime as they seem too relaxed with repairing my car. I am absolutely appalled at the service I am receiving from such a reputable company. I will make sure I tell all my friends to stay away from this panelbeater.
