Poor Service, Super Slow Process and Incorrect System Updates

<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>I was involved in an accident on the 4th of February 2017. My insurer (Santam) took my vehicle to Renew-It randburg for repairs. Since then, I had to do follow ups daily since I wasn't getting updates. Getting an assessor and quotation took over a week on its own. Eventually my repairs were authorised on the 16th of February 2017. I've been checking online daily for the progress of my vehicle and each step takes forever. Eventually I started calling every third day to find out why the vehicle had not moved from one process to the next, and on the same day, I would receive an sms that it moved. My vehicle moved into paint preparation on the 25th of Feb 2017 and didn't move for 3 days. On the 28th I called to enquire from Brian Patel why it hadn't moved, and once again, I received an sms later in the day that it had moved into actual painting.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 02nd of March 2017, I called again to find out why it has not moved from the paint department. Surely painting does not take 3 days. He informed me that the paint is still being prepared. This is when I lost my s***t because per the system my car was being painted. So paint is being prepared for a week????</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm struggling as it is to get to work and I'm not even staying at my place because it is hard to get public transport so I've been staying at home for a month and my car is still not ready. I'm so upset with the way my repairs are being handled. I will be away in Cape Town for close to 2 months and I still have not received my vehicle! I must struggle with public transport for another 2 weeks (that's if I'll even get the car back by then). Who will collect my vehicle when I'm in Cape Town?</p> <p> </p> <p>I would not recommend Renew-It Randburg to anyone! Very disappointing service. System updates should not be re**** on!</p>
